The beginning

(TL;DR version at bottom of post)

This, being my first attempt at truly starting a blog, is likely going to be quite an experience for me, and hopefully quite an adventure for you. When I set out to begin this project I had no idea where to start, so I guess I’ll just start at the beginning.

My whole life I have been fascinated with the idea of business, investments, innovation, and being an entrepreneur. Unfortunately I have never had that one magical idea that just takes off, and when it comes to business the age-old adage is it takes money to make money. I, unfortunately, don’t really have the money it takes to make money.  Every place I have searched for online, and every resource I can find is aimed at someone looking to invest a minimum of $10,000 and promises growth in the single or at best double digit percentages over many years. That doesn’t help 90% of us very much as, if you are anything like me, you don’t have $10,000+ just laying around.

That brings me to the project I am starting with this blog. I’ll be upfront with you, have no idea what to do to grow a small sum of money, like say $200, into something more formidable. In fact from my research I’m not sure any one person does, however I believe that between the knowledge and experience everyone reading this, there is the imagination and creativity needed to do something great, and I want to help anyone reading this to do something great with me.

Because of this I am taking $200 and I am going to ask you where I should invest it and what I what I should do with it. I’ll take what seem to be the best ideas and go with it, if it turns out to be a bad investment, then you will know so you do not risk losing the same, and if it works I’ll update you every step of the way as I try continually new and changing methods.

This is not going to be all I post about on here, but I want to do everything I can to help both myself and anyone reading this to break free from the feeling of captivity that can come along with many financial burdens, and the loss of time that goes into fighting them.

TL;DR version: I want your ideas for helping me investing $200,  I’ll tell you if it works so you can use it. Let’s do something great together. Comment your ideas below.
